Why this role exists
The clinical
manager will lead and manage the safe provision of detox treatments and
interventions for patients requiring an inpatient admission. To lead the development and innovation of the
service ensuring an integrated offer of clinical, psychosocial, and therapeutic
interventions is offered to all patients in a person centred way.
To ensure a high standard of patient care and
effectiveness in line with commissioning requirements, NICE guidelines, and
Care quality Commission.
To provide onsite prescribing cover for
assessment, treatment and delivery of detox prescribing regimes and ongoing review
and evaluation of patient progress and care.
Main duties of the job
What you'll be doing
- Youll work with adults within our Inpatient detoxification facility the Pavilion.
- Youll work alongside and oversee other clinicians, such as Nurses, non-medical prescribers, Recovery support workers, Chefs and Admission coordinators and Doctors as well as other external colleagues.
- Your work will involve managing referrals into the Facility as well as day to day operational running of the facility from Nursing to Prescribing, Business Growth within Frameworks and other forums which will require you to work closely with your team and senior managers within Delphi.
- You will make sure that the Pavilion is operating to a minimum standard rating of good with the CQC and have continuous improvement plans in place to maintain and improve standards as the Registered manager.
- You will be provided with ongoing supervision to help you engage in self-reflection, seek, and respond to feedback, and develop your professional knowledge and skills both Clinically and business acumen.
- You will be based in Lancaster and may involve travel to a range of setting across the wider services for support when required.
- This role is a 37.5 hour per week position operating Mon-Fri. We are happy to discuss flexibility with shift patterns.
