Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Sonographer or an Existing Auditor to join Medicare as we continue to develop and expand our clinical services. Reporting to the Operations Director the successful candidate will providing Auditing support within the Ultrasound Insourcing function, ensuring patients receive outstanding care. They will be involved in ensuring that the sonographers feel clinically supported in their working environment.

We are looking for a confident individual, with exceptional communication skills who can deliver our vision to become the preferred provider of diagnostics services.

Main duties of the job

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

Conducting face to face audits.

Provide audit feedback to clinicians and assist with learning outcomes.

Complete administration is associated with the role.

Join client calls to advise on clinical matters, if required.

Assist with mentorship to our remote workforce.

Communicate complex and sensitive information and manage difficult conversations effectively, using evidence-based data to drive positive outcomes.

Identifying areas of risk and recommendations for delivery on a safe service.

Ensure clinical excellence is at the forefront of all processes.

Work with the Operations Director to ensure prompt and effective actions are agreed in response to the performance of individuals.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Post graduate specialist diploma in medical ultrasound.
  • Wide variety of ultrasound modality experience including, but not
  • limited to TV, Abdo, Pelvis, Testes, and MSK
  • 3 years post-graduate experience.
  • Experience of auditing sonographers.
  • Sound clinical knowledge of clinical ultrasound.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Prepared to travel across the UK as when required.

Desirable

  • Full Driving Licence would be an advantage but not essential
  • HCPC Registration
