Main duties of the job

The Senior Paramedic Operations Manager will be responsible for:

Overall contractual overview of a major MOJ and NHS funded secure environment healthcare contract

Overview of all aspects of service delivery from interviewing new staff to site and location visits throughout the north of England

Preparation of reports in conjunction with a dedicated administrative team

Attending meetings and preparation of standard operating procedures for the company and helping to ensure the contract adheres to the agreed service levels

Management of a large team of paramedics

The Senior Paramedic Operations Manager will be responsible for:

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have overall day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the contract from logistics, supplies, client meetings and organising and managing our paramedic workforce, supported by our Head Office team based in Central London.

As this is a clinical role in Healthcare sector, the candidate must be open to an Enhanced DBS check.

  • Exceptional managerial and people management skills
  • Able to act autonomously in client interactions with senior management staff members of our clients
  • Able to lead a team of paramedics
  • Exceptional IT skills and written report writing
  • Holds a driving licence with less than 6 points.

Desirable

  • Experience in secure environment health care
  • Experience in logistical healthcare management
  • Senior level Independent Healthcare sector experience
