Job summary

Are you a kind and compassionate Registered Nurse with clinical experience? If yes, then we have the role for you! Here at Bionical Solutions we are looking for a Nurse Specialist to deliver education and support to patients who are receiving an advanced therapy that will assist with their Parkinson's disease symptoms and lifestyle management.

This role requires you to be able to stay away from home 50% of the working month and be comfortable with travelling.

Main duties of the job

• You will deliver patient care and support within hospitals and their own homes.
• You will receive a 3-month extensive training package to deliver a best-in-class Parkinson's therapy service to patients in the first stages of the treatment as well as giving the patient continued outstanding after care.
• You will carry out pre-assessments in the community with patients to determine whether this therapy is the best choice for them.
• You will liaise with local hospitals to arrange the therapy, acting as support to patients in their first stages of treatment in the hospital.
• You will titrate and ensure the patients are receiving the correct dosage before they can be discharged.
• You will be the 'go to' person for any questions in regard to the therapy for the Nurses and Doctors within the hospital.
• You will carry out timely check-ups with the patients in their home to ensure they are comfortable with the ongoing treatment and support them with any advice and questions.
