Job summary
Purpose of the role
Working with clinical and non-clinical colleagues in NHS organisations within Integrated Care Systems, you will be leading development of Care Pathways, which include Value Based Procurement, Innovation and delivering value for money.
Using latest guidance, best practice and nationally approved recommendations (GIRFT, MedTech Directorate, AHSNs, NICE, MHRA, Royal Colleges, NHSE), and collaborating with NHS Supply Chain stakeholders (Hospital and Out of Hospital Care teams) you will support organisations to adopt innovation and clinical best practice, transforming care pathway outcomes for patients.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
- Engage with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to explore, influence and deliver Value Based Procurement and Innovation.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders and NHSSC colleagues, to gain greater insight to the purchasing drivers and needs of the NHS.
- Bring customer insights back into NHSSC to support other functions to drive their service delivery plans.
- Be able to explore and identify end to end patient pathways with customers to support the delivery of improved patient outcomes.
