An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join Kavanagh Place, a specialist care home in Kirkdale Liverpool for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.
Kavanagh Place complex needs care home specialises in supporting adults living with complex mental health needs, complex dementia and physical disabilities. The home's Abbey Unit is exclusively for people who identify as male.
Our Nurse-led team has the skills and expertise to support people with complex needs including prolonged disorders of consciousness and behaviours of concern, and those who require tracheostomies, ventilators and PEG feeding tubes.
We require a part time or full time reliable, energetic Registered Nurse to work as part of our team. Full flexibility required across a 7 day week including 12 hour shifts.
Main duties of the job
In the role, youll be responsible for assessing peoples care needs, leading a small Care Team to deliver the highest standards of nursing care, ensuring safety for service users and colleagues at all times, and completing the required documentation to a high standard.
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate an excellent range of clinical and interpersonal skills and must be willing to teach and/or support other colleagues within the remit of their role and experience.
The post holder will be a good role model and will treat all colleagues, visitors and service users with dignity and respect.

Kavanagh Place complex needs care home specialises in supporting adults living with complex mental health needs, complex dementia and physical disabilities. The home's Abbey Unit is exclusively for people who identify as male. Our Nurse-led team has the skills and expertise to support people with complex needs including prolonged disorders of consciousness and behaviours of concern, and those who require tracheostomies, ventilators and PEG feeding tubes. We support people on their rehabilitation journey from hospital or living in a secure setting to community-based living. We also provide long term support for people living with degenerative or life-limiting illnesses.
Kavanagh Place has a reputation for providing high quality care for individuals living with varying complex health needs. A welcoming, modern and person-centred home, Kavanagh Place aims to make every day better for its service users. The home has 40 large bedrooms, each with an en-suite, across four units.
