- Support the team in developing the fibro scan service
- Support the team with accurate data collection and audits of the fibro scan service
- Act as a liaison for all healthcare professionals involved in health care provision to facilitate integrated patient focused care
- Record fibro scan results
- Effectively deliver fibro scans to a high standard and in accordance with local and national training protocols

Essential
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Medical Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.
- Certification by a recognised accrediting body such as the the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer, with specific expertise in Fibroscans
Experience
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Medical Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.
- Certification by a recognised accrediting body such as the the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer, with specific expertise in fibroscans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of abdominal anatomy, physiology, and pathology, particularly related to diseases of the liver as well as related conditions.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and conducting diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and adhering to ethical principles in clinical practice.
- Valid professional registration and licensure, as required by regulatory authorities.
