Job responsibilities

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality care in our outpatient clinics. The successful candidate will assist healthcare professionals with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patients receive safe, efficient, and person-centred care during their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient observations (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and routine clinical procedures under supervision

• Prepare consulting rooms and assist clinicians during examinations or minor procedures

• Support patients with mobility, comfort, and basic needs during their clinic visits

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality

• Manage stock levels of clinical supplies and ensure clean, well-organised clinic areas

• Provide reassurance and information to patients and families, ensuring a positive patient experience

• Follow infection control, health and safety, and safeguarding policies at all times

• Candidates must have previous experience working in the NHS.
