The successful candidate will have current NMC/HCPC registration, extensive Theatre management knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent organisational and communication skills. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, they will ensure the department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and Well Led, driving efficiency and maximising session utilisation.
Essential Criteria:
- ODP/Registered Nurse
- Current NMC/HCPC registration
- Theatre manager or deputy manager experience
- Management of list utilisation and staff resources
- Commercial and financial healthcare knowledge
- Business and activity growth experience
- Analytical report writing
- Line management of clinical departments
- Leadership experience
- Organisational skills to prioritise and delegate
- Clinical governance experience in perioperative settings
- Change management skills
- Excellent IT skills
Experience:
Strong clinical background in theatre from acute or private hospitals, proven track record in delivering change for quality and efficiency, innovation in clinical practice, policy development, and ongoing professional development.
