The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Orthopaedic Outpatient Department as a highly skilled advanced practitioner in Orthopaedics/Spinal. The team you would be joining provides crucial, specialised care and management to patients in all areas of MSK and Orthopaedics. You will be providing specialised care to patients in orthopaedics including hip and knee replacements.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for:
- Expert musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic assessment, diagnosis, and management
- Independent Management & Treatment - Provides personalised treatment approaches
- Diagnostics & Prescribing - Can order and interpret imaging and independently prescribe medication
- Referral & Multidisciplinary Working - Refers patients to specialists (E.g. Orthopaedics, Physio, Rheumatology)
