Main duties of the job

Work in accordance with the Department's Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management Systems. To provide supervision to Apprentice/Trainee Decontamination Technicians within the team. Plan your own workload with limited supervision. To plan and co-ordinate the activity of a shift as required in the absence of the Decontamination Technician Supervisor

Bank Decontamination Technician | Ashtead Hospital | Bank Hours

The role

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individual who have already worked within the field of decontamination of re-usable medical devices or who have completed a recognised decontamination course (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate). You will be responsible for the full decontamination cycle on re-usable medical devices (surgical instruments) to the highest of standards, in line within all Ramsay policies and procedures, participating fully in quality control processes ensuring procedures and documentation is completed accurately at all times.
