As the Lead, you will set the bar of what an exemplary patient experience looks like by being present in a clinical capacity, whilst also completing operational duties to ensure that the department excels alongside the other modalities within the diagnostic Service.
Main duties of the job
Teach and lead the MRI service. Prioritise workload according to clinical urgency/need when working single handed and running an area Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload. Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice. Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities Supervise and develop junior colleagues Responsible for MRI safety in line with local rules To work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC. Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme. Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers. Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and, can report faults in line with Ramsay Health policy. Competency in IV cannulation is essential Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes. Comply with all Ramsay Health policies and procedures. Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements. Participate in on call rota (must be able to attend site within one hour of call activation)
