Job summary

We are now inviting applications for the post of Bank Sterile Services Technician. This is a bank position, working on an ad-hoc basis and is based at Ramsay Sterile Services East Midlands in Kettering, Northamptonshire. During April 2023 we opened a new Decontamination Hub in Kettering. We are currently looking for experience TSSU Drivers to join our busy team and be part of this exciting new development. The new purpose built State of the art unit provides an efficient Decontamination service

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a competent individual who is looking for flexible working and open to available shifts dependent on the need in the hub. Please be aware on a Bank contract we are unable to confirm contracted shift patterns therefore this is a great opportunity for current Bank workers or someone looking for additional hours in their current role. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated. You will have experience within the field of Decontamination of re-usable medical devices for at least 2 years, or would have completed a recognised decontamination course (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate). We are looking for people to develop their careers with us, so if you feel you need to move forward with a fresh start, come and meet the team for an informal visit

  • Key responsibilities include Performing the full decontamination cycle on re-usable medical devices (surgical instruments) to the highest of standards, in line within all Ramsay policies and procedures. Participate fully in quality control processes ensuring procedures and documentation is completed accurately at all times
