The role is ideal for a senior clinical leader aspiring to a role as Head of Clinical Services (Matron). You will be working in collaboration with the Hospital Head of Clinical Services (Matron), to assist in driving sustainable excellence in safety and quality of care and services.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Deputy Head of Clinical Services will be to support the Heads of Departments in ensuring the day-to-day operational management of the clinical services are line with best practice. Therefore it is a requirement that you are a strong leader working in a senior clinical role as you will be required to problem solve and provide direction enabling services to run safely and effectively which may on occasion require you to step in clinically. Communication is a key part of this role as you will be required to influence and change/challenge practices at all levels.
