Job Title: HCA - Band 3 Department: Orthopaedic and Spinal Ward Location: The London Clinic, 20 Devonshire Place Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week. Monday to Sunday Shift Pattern: Days, nights and weekends. Shift times are 07.45 to 20.15 for day shifts and 19.45 to 20.15 for night shifts. Salary: £31,659 - £36,024 dependant on experience About Us The Orthopaedic and Spinal Ward at The London Clinic provides high quality inpatient care for adults recovering from a wide range of elective and complex orthopaedic and spinal procedures. About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our Orthopaedic and Spinal Ward. This is a key role supporting patients through their post-operative recovery following elective and complex orthopaedic and spinal procedures. You will work closely with nurses, physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive safe and attentive care throughout their stay. Key Duties
Support patients with personal care, hygiene, nutrition, and mobilityAssist patients with movement and rehabilitation following surgeryCarry out routine observations and report concerns promptlyMaintain a clean and well organised ward environmentSupport patient admissions, transfers, and dischargesCommunicate clearly with patients, families, and colleaguesUphold dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all timesWork effectively with the nursing team to support smooth ward operations Skills and Experience:
