Job title: Palliative Care and Symptom Control CNS Salary: £52,488 - £62,978 Location: 22 Devonshire Place, London Job Type: 12 Months Fixed-Term Contract Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday Are you a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting a Palliative Care and Symptom Control CNS to join our Specialist Palliative and Symptom Control Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will be based in our state-of-the-art Duchess of Devonshire Wing, part of The London Clinic's internationally respected cancer centre, where excellence, innovation and patient-centred care are at the heart of everything we do. About us One of the UK's leading independent cancer centres, offering expert care across all tumour types with a strong reputation in stem cell transplant, CAR-T therapy and novel systemic treatments. Since 1932, we've delivered exceptional patient care across eight premises, including our main hospital and our purpose-built cancer centre. The Duchess of Devonshire Wing offers state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites, and 47 dedicated oncology and haematology beds. The role As a CNS in our specialist palliative care team, you will work closely with our Palliative Medicine Consultant and a fellow CNS to deliver expert, gold-standard care to patients with both malignant and non-malignant conditions. You will support patients and their families through complex care needs, drawing on your clinical expertise and emotional insight to ensure high-quality, person-centred support. Key Duties
Conduct in-depth assessments addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needsDevelop and monitor individualised care plans in partnership with patients and familiesOffer clinical advice and emotional support to colleagues and carersWork closely with internal and external teams to ensure continuity of careSupport service development and contribute to staff training Skills and Experience
