Job Type:This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, rota based)Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London W1G 6BWBenefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%). About the role: As our Theatre Coordinator, you'll provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership across our busy theatres. You'll play a key role in ensuring theatre activity is run safely, efficiently and in line with national and AfPP standards, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and managing a wide range of surgical specialties. This is a hands-on leadership post, with responsibilities spanning staffing coordination, performance support, governance, equipment oversight, and supporting the Deputy Theatre Manager You'll be expected to:
Lead the daily coordination of lists and staffingSupport the team in delivering safe, person-centred careMaintain CQC and HTA standards across the departmentProvide mentorship and training for theatre staffDeputise for senior managers when neededSupport with audits, investigations, and service improvements Skills and Experience: We're looking for someone confident, collaborative and clinically credible, with strong coordination skills and a calm, organised approach. You should have:
