We have an exciting opportunity for a Pathology Office Supervisor to join our pathology department.This role is based in our Pathology department at 116 Harley Street-London. We are offering a competitive salary of £36,000 per annum and a fantastic array or benefits.
Job Profile
The Pathology Office Supervisor's role is to oversee the pathology general office and deal with enquiries from users of the service in an efficient and professional manner to ensure that their needs are met and the standards of quality and service expected by our users is maintained.
Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Job Location: 116 Harley Street, London, W1G 6BW (Close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations).
Salary: £36,000 per annum

Key Duties
To supervise the clerical team and ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely manner, with quality excellence and value-for-money.To undertake preliminary preparation of specimens as required.To ensure all staff within the department are given training and competency testing at regular intervals.To ensure the extended working day is covered by an appropriate number of suitably trained staff.To ensure that a high standard of quality and customer care is developed and maintained within the area.To comply, and ensure compliance with, all current health and safety regulations.To ensure that all referred requests are returned in a timely manner and to liaise with external laboratories to obtain outstanding results as necessary.To ensure that all enquiries to the department are dealt with promptly and professionally including the resolution of complaints where appropriate.
