Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our Medical team at The London Clinic located in Central London (Close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).
Main duties of the job
Work closely with the Matron's Office (Site Management team) and the clinical nursing teams on the surgical wards and the ITU, including other RMOs and Speciality Clinical Fellows. Assess patients at the request of Senior Nurses/Ward Manager's and manage any emergency that may arise with the guidance of the consultant in charge. Undertake medical procedures where required, such as intravenous infusion, inserting a urinary catheter, arterial blood sampling, ECG`s etc. Responsible for checking outpatient medication requirements as well as dose checking protocols and approving medication. Contribute to medical clinical/service audits and ensure written appropriate communication and handover to the oncoming RMO.
