Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Executive to join our Commercial department at The London Clinic, based at our head office in London (NW1 4LJ). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. Type: Full Time, permanent position. Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday; 9am-5.30pm Location: 1 Park Square West, London,NW1 4LJ. We offer a hybrid working model.
Main duties of the job
As the Contract Executive, you will be responsible for ongoing negotiations and price agreements with private medical insurers (PMI's), while liaising with the finance and wider hospital teams on their implementation. Duties & Responsibilities - Owning the day to day interactions with PMI Insurance companies, agreeing prices, handling queries, across the portfolio of customers - Lead the administration of all insurer contracts, and oversee the relationships with a portfolio of small to medium sized insurers. - Support the Associate Director for Marketing, International and PMI with negotiation with larger insurers, owning negotiation planning and generation of data to support the interactions - Work proactively with the hospital billing and wider teams to ensure that billing for insured patients is correct, accurate and in accordance with the PMI contracts. - Provide training and guidance to hospital/clinic teams to ensure they have a full understanding of Private Medical Insurance (PMI) contracts and processes, and are efficient in collecting accurate insurance information. - Working with the finance team to make sure pricing and rules are reflective contractual requirements. - Complete hospital billing audits and work closely with the credit control team to ensure that they have a good understanding of PMI contracts and processes - Maintain the insurance tariffs and pricing update process
