Sciensus are currently looking for a Registered Children's Nurse in Manchester. We are looking for a talented, patient focused clinician to join our fantastic team. As a Registered Children's Nurse, you will deliver gold standard, one to one, holistic care in the comfort of the patients home or school.

Main duties of the job

As a Children's Nurse, you will deliver gold standard, one to one, holistic care in the comfort of the patients home or school. Work for us, and remember the reason why you became a nurse, its your opportunity to make a real difference to children's lives every single day.

You will offer quality nursing that is tailored to the childs needs. Ensuring all professional standards are excelled and relevant care plans are delivered. Be treating patients with a wide range of conditions including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, chrohns disease and psoriasis. Manage your own daily workload whilst maintaining stock, supplies and equipment. All clinical data will be recorded accurately to ensure quality care is maintained and delivered, and any adverse affects reported via the correct protocol. Maintain and demonstrate up to date knowledge, ensuring any gaps in clinical competency are addressed whilst also staying compliant with all business policies and procedures.

As this is a regional role travelling to visit patients in their home setting, it is crucial that you have full UK driving licence.

Assist patients in their activities of daily living and support multi-disciplinary goals of optimising patients level of independence.

Conduct roles and responsibilities in accordance with NMC Code of Practice and HAH policy, procedures, and protocols.

Having responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of self and others and complying at all times with requirements of Health and Safety regulations, including reporting any accidents or incidents using relevant documentation.
