Priory Kemple View are recruiting for Healthcare Assistant's to join their team.
The salary for this role is £10.60 - £11.10 ph
We have Full Time positions available.
Main duties of the job
As a HCA, you will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with differing psychiatric presentations. You'll be under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional, and work with doctors, psychologists and a range of other healthcare professionals.
The main contact you'll have, though, is with the people in our care. Your experience and on-going Priory training will prepare you to deal with any difficult situations that may occur, teaching you how to handle such situations safely using de-escalation techniques and supporting your team.
Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.
Provide practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation.
Observe and monitor the wellbeing of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.
Participate in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
