Barton Ward - an acute ward for females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and personality disorders
The service will be dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care, which will enable patients recovery and re-engagement with the community.
You will lead the OT team, including OT Assistants as part of the wider Therapies Team at the hospital, to develop and provide the necessary assessments and treatments within a busy acute adult mental health and PICU service. There are three key elements that the Lead Occupational Therapist will lead on for the hospital: To lead the OT Team, to lead on Patient Engagement and to lead on the Family Involvement agenda. The OT Team consists of qualified Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
