As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering patient care while also contributing to team leadership and service development. You will be responsible for:
- Performing comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Leadingward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and care reviews.
- Overseeing clinical management of complex cases, particularly those involving risk or challenging behaviour.
- Supporting patients and families through treatment decisions, relapse prevention, and recovery pathways.
- Providing mentorship, supervision, and support to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance withCQC regulationsand national standards.
- Collaborating with site leadership to ensure efficient service delivery and patient satisfaction.
