Were looking for an experienced RMN who would like to build their leadership skills on our Cedars ward.
About the role
Our Eating Disorder units are combined into Russell House which encompasses both Cedar and Aspen. The wards provide a full service provision which focusses on positive physical and psychological outcomes.
Main duties of the job
The duties of the role include but are not limited to:
Assisting the Ward Manager in providing day to day management and supervision of the ward.
Assisting the Ward manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff.
Implementing best practice across the ward.
Support changes within the service
Responsible for the clinical direction of the service
Support the delivery of personalised care and contribute to service improvement.

Cheadle Royal Hospital is a specialist provider of complex mental health
services, providing clinical excellence across 13 wards which include acute
adult wards, Eating Disorder Service, CAMHS, Rehabilitation, Acute and PICU
services. Situated on Wilmslow road with easy transport links.
Alder
is an acute mental health unit for adult male and female patients offering a
24-hour admission service to support local NHS services and PICU wards. The
ethos of the acute ward is to provide support in a crisis and offer therapeutic
engagement during the in-patient stay. Alder ward is a standalone unit within
the grounds of Cheadle Royal Hospital supporting patients who present with
mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, personality disorder, depression,
bipolar disorder and other diagnoses. For some patients, Alder ward will be
their first admission to a mental health ward and the MDT will support them to
overcome crisis and become well enough to be discharged into the community,
whether this be home or to support living. The MDT consists of a Responsible
Clinician (RC), Specialty Doctor, Ward Manager, Occupational Therapist, the
Nursing Team and Psychology team and the goal of the MDT is to make a real and
lasting difference to the lives of patients who come to Alder ward.
The
