Job summary

Priory Hospital Cheadle Royalis looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team on our CAMHS ward. This role is not open to preceptors at this time. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours.

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

  • A Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 612 months of post-registration experience, holding active NMC registration and having successfully completed a preceptorship programme. Demonstrates a sound understanding of NMC guidelines, standards, and professional practices, supported by evidence of ongoing post-registration continuing professional development. Displays a positive attitude with a strong commitment to change, improvement, and quality of care. Skilled in developing and implementing flexible and innovative approaches to practice, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Possesses a minimum of six months experience within a Mental Health, Learning Disabilities or CAMHS care environment, with a proven record of continued professional development and effective communication in clinical settings.
