Job summary
Priory Hospital Nelson House is looking to recruit a nurse to join the team. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week. Located in Gosport, Hampshire, Priory Hospital Nelson House is a rehabilitation service which offers both level 1 and level 2 care, supporting males presenting with mental health conditions and complex needs, who may also have behaviours that challenge and substance misuse issues.

- The candidate is a Qualified Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN) with active NMC registration, if you are an RGN we would require you to have some experience of working in a mental health setting. You may have completed a preceptorship programme and gained 612 months of post-registration experience. You will possess a solid understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, supported by evidence of ongoing continuing professional development. They demonstrate a positive attitude, with a strong commitment to change, improvement, and quality in practice, while also showing the ability to develop and apply flexible, innovative approaches to care. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, they bring at least six months of experience working within mental health or learning disabilities care environments, further strengthened by continued professional growth in their field.
