Lead Occupational Therapist (Part Time)

Job summary

Priory Hospital Burston House is looking to recruit a lead occupational therapist to join the team. This is a full time part time role of 30 hours. The role will be primarily based at Burston House, however there may be the occasional need to travel to our other sites.

 

Priory Burston House, located in the historic market town of Diss, near the border of Suffolk, provides level 2 rehabilitation for male patients with a learning disability. Across rehabilitation and low secure care, our specialist learning disability service also cares for adults who may have complex mental health needs, including autism and personality disorders.

  • The ideal candidate should be HCPC registered and hold either a BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy, along with having completed appropriate clinical post-graduate courses. Additionally, a recognised long course or MSc would be desirable, as would professional membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT). Essential experience includes broad post-qualification practice with significant exposure to clinical OT within the acute sector, as well as experience in team leadership and driving change.
