Job summary
Based in Harleston, Norfolk, Priory Richmond House is a level 2 rehabilitation service for those with a learning disability. We can support adult females with a range of needs, including those who are on the autism spectrum, those with a personality disorders, complex mental health needs, and those with a history of offending behaviours.
Main duties of the job
- Lead and oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of complex occupational therapy interventions for diverse client populations.
- Mentor and supervise junior occupational therapists and assistants, providing guidance and professional development support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address clients functional goals.
- Conduct advanced evaluations and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications to improve clients independence and quality of life.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a registered occupational therapist, typically with a minimum of 57 years in clinical practice, including experience in leadership or supervisory roles. A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body are essential. Strong clinical expertise across various client groups, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cases independently are required. Experience in service development, quality assurance, and mentoring staff is highly valued.
