Main duties of the job

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Central Division in the role of Professional Nurse Specialist in Reducing Restrictive Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a key team that supportsas a key expertwithin the organisation, leading the development and delivery of strategies to reduce restrictive interventions.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities) with current NMC registration and a minimum of 7 years post-registration experience.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car.
  • Must be willing to travel across the UK.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK at short notice where urgent support is required
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to reducing restrictive practices and behavioural support.
  • Current experience working with national advisory groups looking at reducing restrictive practices.
