Main duties of the job

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Central Division in the role of Professional Nurse Specialist in Autism. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a key team that supportswithin a senior leadership role responsible for driving the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical strategies and practices across the organisation for individuals with autism spectrum Condition (ASC).

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities) with current NMC registration and a minimum of 7 years post-registration experience.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car.
  • Must be willing to travel across the UK.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK at short notice where urgent support is required.
  • Additional qualifications or postgraduate education in autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, or a related field (e.g., MSc in Autism, PBS)
  • Current experience working with national advisory groups looking at working with people with autism.
