Job summary

Our Healthcare Division offers a variety of services including Mental Health, Addictions, Brain Injury and Rehabilitation and Recovery treatment plans.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities:

  • Support our residents with in-house activities and hobbies
  • Providing support to achieve every day goals including personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting
  • Manage some behaviours that challenge
  • Assistant and support to attend medical appointments
  • Observe, monitor and record physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff
  • Provide emotional support to individuals and their families
  • Support and monitor healthcare needs, including administering medication and temperature checks
  • Understand communication needs and adapt your communication to each individual
  • Work with other professionals, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure consistency of support
  • Analyse an individuals needs and draw up a focused support plan
