Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and expert clinical leader to take on the new role as Professional Network Lead for a number of our service lines within the Priory. This high profile national role will be responsible, in conjunction with the Clinical Director, for ensuring that we deliver the highest standard of practice consistently across all of our services within the network. The role will also be central to ensuring an effective national network is in place, creating and developing new services and providing expert advice on challenging clinical issues

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate expert level knowledge, but also has the ability to motivate others and create a culture of clinical innovation. They should be a credible clinical leader who is able to demonstrate leadership on meaningful practice improvement that has made a true difference to the care and treatment delivered to patients.

Job description

Job responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical professional with middle grade management background to develop experience of supporting a clinical network which would translate well into further management development. Previously the roles were held by our two Specialist Directors who are now retiring and we are looking at creating 3 full time roles: one for the Acute/PICU pathway, one for CAMHs and Eating Disorders and one for Forensic and Rehabilitation networks Successful candidates would have a key role in organising monthly and quarterly meetings, keeping the agenda, ensuring data is available to review and that allocated actions are completed.

Outside of the network meetings they will be doing a range of tasks in their allotted time which will include complex case reviews, site visits, due diligence, liaising with external commissioning and regulatory bodies and attending relevant conferences. There will be closer working with Business Development managers to ensure the care pathways are meeting the market needs.

A close working relationship with the network clinical director will be essential including supporting them administratively in their network role. Developing a growing expertise in the network and making it inclusive and well attended by all sites.

Successful candidates will work remotely and attend sites as necessary and there will be a car allowance to support the travel.
