Main duties of the job

As a Health Coach you will be working on the front-line of delivering care to our patients and will play a key role in helping us grow our company and provided amazing support to our patients.

You will be responsible for motivating and guiding people towards their health and wellness goals through a blend of remote video calls and chat-based coaching.

You will work as part of a multi-professional team to provide high quality holistic health coaching, supporting and guiding patients.

We work with NHS, corporates and private health insured partners to look after their cancer patients and to help these organizations reduce the cost of their care and improve access to all. Alvie is the only scalable hybrid coaching solution with clear clinical benefits.

About us

Alvie is the first digital health coaching service for people undergoing or recovering from treatment for cancer. 1 in 2 people will be affected by cancer, yet despite the best surgeons and treatment, only 50% of cancer patients will successfully complete their treatment due to poor health and lack of health optimisation.

Alvie delivers digitally-enabled peri-hab programmes to people across the UK.

(Peri-hab encompasses the care of patients before, during, and after their treatment). It is the practice of preparing for or recovering from an upcoming surgery or medical procedure by improving physical and emotional health. Programmes are tailored to the individual and involve physical activity, nutrition, lifestyle modifications and psychological support.

Our offer to you:

You will work with an amazing and passionate team committed to delivering on our mission

Opportunities to be involved in research and contribute to publications

Full training and mentorship and opportunities for ongoing career development

25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and 5 days unpaid leave (pro rata)
