Job summary

A position for a Partnerships Manager has arisen in our new and innovative Strategy and Partnerships Directorate. The Partnerships Manager will be instrumental in ensuring Patient Care Locally continues to be at the cutting edge of innovation and technological advancements to support healthcare. This role requires an organised and committed individual focused on delivering better healthcare outcomes for service users.

Main duties of the job

The role will support the Strategy and Partnerships directorate with the delivery of service transformation and innovation initiatives in line with the strategic priorities and objectives for Patient Care Locally CIC;

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service transformation and commissioning, coupled with outstanding organisational and project management abilities. In this role, you will take the lead on specific work areas, engaging and collaborating with a diverse range of system partners and stakeholders. You will gain in-depth knowledge in your areas of responsibility, providing oversight for effective service delivery and pathways and fostering improvement opportunities for Patient Care Locally CIC

Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, system-based programs, services and initiatives to provide, information and analytical advice and expertise

Provide the teams business support function, including developing and managing the teams business plan, progress and reporting risk and issue management and meeting reporting requirements ;

  • Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required;
  • Demonstrated capabilities to manage own workload and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight and often changing timescales.
  • Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium and long- term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly;
  • Numerate and able to understand complex financial issues combined with deep analytical skills;
  • Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures.
