Job summary

LLR PCL is excited to launch a joint recruitment with LLR Integrated Care Board (ICB) to second a Senior Project Manager for Planned Care for the ICB. The Manager will drive system-wide work to transform integrated care across LLR.

PCL and the ICB are committed to supporting the postholder in their work to improve end-to-end patient pathways along with healthcare systems and structures for the benefit of the local population and the health and social care workforce.

If you are a manager working within LLR and have experience in improving healthcare services then we want to hear from you. This is an interesting and varied role and would suit a manager that would like to broaden their knowledge of system working and commissioning.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent the interests of patients and wider population of LLR. As the Project Manager you will be driving the improvement and transformation of new pathways of care and facilitating on-going service development. You will need to ensure full engagement in and implementation of these changes.

Ideal candidates will have experience of collaborating with stakeholders across organisations to support transformation across LLR. The role will encompass alignment of strategic and current operational activities, coordinating the transformation of care and ensuring effective clinical engagement to achieve system change.

Main duties of the job

The Project Manager will:

Provide advanced project support for the transformation of Planned Care across the ICB.

  1. Project manage the transformation of end to end pathways.
  2. Work with providers to deliver savings and take out cost in provider organisations.
  3. Support relevant workforce development.
  4. Support the drive to improve efficiencies.
  5. To drive out health inequalities in what ever projects are carried out.

The post holder will be key to supporting the delivery of the 10 System Expectations aligned to the LLR Model of Care.

Key responsibilities will include:

Carry out day-to-day project management of pathway programme to ensure that projects successfully deliver the desired outcomes within the specified constraints of time and cost.
