Job summary

LLR PCL is seeking to recruit a Data and Digital Project Analyst who will deliver analytical products as well as to support LLRPCLs wide range of providers in establishing new services and providing ongoing support, as required. Such responsibilities could range from ensuring the provider has the correct level of access to data quality or providing the interface between the provider and our partner service with Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (LHIS). The right candidate will be proactive and adaptable to finding solutions to issues that our diverse set of Providers may face. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to help build and enhance the organisations growing digital capabilities and drive the way our organisation uses analytics to improve operational performance, patient care and experience. The role will involve supporting the Digital Manager and the Business Intelligence Team, focusing on providing analysis to help the organisation become an insight-driven organisation, to enable it to self-serve its data needs, to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of new pathways, services, and other digital technologies.

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills in managing data and developing business intelligence products (including interactive visual reports), data modelling, and producing analysis using statistical software as well as understanding the principles of project management to support the implementation of new pathways.

Provision of analysis of datasets

*Analyse a variety of datasets, ensuring the results are accurate, fit-for-purpose and presented to a high standard, including the interpretation of results.

*Data mining, analysis and modelling of data sets and application of analytical techniques to generate insights from data and provide relevant and timely information to inform patient care.

*To participate in regular and routine reporting for internal and external requirements both from the LLRPCL SystmOne unit and also through liaison with LHIS.

*The development, design and maintenance of data visualisation reporting tools, such as performance reporting or dashboard analysis. As above, the focus of the company is for these to become self-serve to enable all managers to have a focus around data.

*To take the lead in monitoring and resolution data quality and accuracy issues both within LLRPCL and across our Provider network. This will include understanding the full pathway of the data, and the organisational needs on both sides.

*To support the Business Intelligence team to ensure that there is a central data repository where relevant managers can gain access to the data they require at all times.

*To support in providing an analytical business intelligence function to managers, including capacity modelling, business process redesign, benchmarking, and monitoring of performance.

*To support the Head of Business Intelligence in attending meetings with information users (including internal managers and Providers), to present data verbally and graphically giving interpretation of the reliability, accuracy and trends demonstrated.

*To ensure that written documentation exists and is maintained for any processes for which the post holder is routinely responsible or has developed.

*To undertake and complete ad hoc requests in line with the departments policy and procedures, and to ensure exceptions and problems are escalated where appropriate.

Information management and provision

*Support the Implementation of new services and pathways.

*Communicating analytical data and information to a range of stakeholders, being able adjust your communication style to the relevant audience. Identifying areas and opportunities for improvement.

*Provide education and support to LLRPCL providers regarding the functionality of SystmOne.

Development

*Develop further report-writing skills to ensure that information presented has descriptions and analysis to assist interpretation by the end user.

*Undertake further study or training as needed to for further knowledge, skills and technical applications required by the Organisation. The expectation is that any training needs identified would be financially covered by the organisation in agreement with the line manager.
