Salary: £57,000
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours (shift pattern) Part-time options available (minimum 23 hours a week)

About us
Rapid Response Medical Services Ltd is now one of the largest providers of emergency (999) provision to the NHS, providing hundreds of thousands of hours per year. Rapid Response is one of the only registered apprenticeship providers in the independent sector able to organically grow clinical staff to both AAP and Paramedic level. Our operations are forever growing across the country, including being awarded a large contract within the East of England Area and South Central Ambulance Service.
All applicants who pass the application stage will be expected to attend a one day assessment day which includes a face to face interview, fitness test, ILS/ALS assessment and patient assessment.
All successful applicants who pass our assessment day will be required to attend a 2 days face to face induction course. This induction course is fully paid and accommodation provided if required.

Operational Delivery
Use your advanced driving skills to respond to 999 calls as dispatch by the NHS control room
Safely transfer patients to and from ambulances, using specialist equipment and manual handling skills
Work alongside other RRMG, Trust and hospital clinicians responding to a range of ambulance activities.
Complete thorough handover reports and record all patient treatment information
Carry out maintenance and equipment checks of ambulances to ensure they are safe for operational use
Carry out all duties, working within the defined scope of practice and adhering to protocols, policies, SOP’s and clinical guidelines, seeking appropriate clinical advice and/or support as required.
Clinical Delivery
Deliver high quality patient care across a range of operational activity
Operate within the RRMG and trust set scope of practice and ensure high quality, appropriate patient contact and documentation
Ensure that RRMG clinical standards are met and exceeded at all times, making effective clinical decisions within guidelines and RRMG policies & procedures
Treat patients with respect and dignity and maintain confidentiality in relation to personal data, ensuring it is processed lawfully
You will lead the assessment of patients and administer essential care in high pressure situations
