Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for motivated and highly organised Urgent Care Coordinator to join our team at Staffordshire House on a permanent Part time basis. covering weekends, overnights and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

Your day to day

The Urgent Care Coordinator role is a Tri-Role which may involve you working as Car Controller, Centre Coordinator or Shift Coordinator:-

  • Car Controller: to manage calls requiring a home visit, allocating calls to drivers taking in to account call priority and geographical factors at all times
  • Centre Coordinator: To allocate and despatch calls to Vocare Urgent Care Centres and other service providers. To successfully manage the Patient Transport System providing logical solutions for patient access into service
  • Shift Coordinator: To monitor calls despatched to Vocare utilising in housing systems All of the above require that National or Local Quality standards are achieved.
This role will involve working Evenings and Weekends on a rota basis.

We partner with our healthcare commissioners across the UK & Ireland to deliver services that help them manage demand and reduce waiting lists.

We deliver services for, Urgent Treatment Centres, NHS 111, GP out of Hours and a National Clinical Assessment Service from our Urgent Care Division.
