Job summary
Totally's Urgent Care Division are looking for enthusiastic GPs to work remotely from home to provide outstanding clinical care for all of our patients across the country, supporting the 111 Integrated Urgent Care service in our National Clinical Assessment Service (National CAS).
Urgent Care is a growing area supporting secondary and primary care colleagues to meet increasing patient demand.
Main duties of the job
As a National CAS Remote GP, you will work autonomously in a safe and effective manner using your medical experience to support our patients to access the most appropriate care, at the right time and in the right place.
You will be managing patients with urgent medical needs through telephone and video consulting. You will have the facility to prescribe remotely by Electronic Prescribing System.
Whilst working in NCAS you will be part of a multi skilled team that includes advanced nurse practitioners, Registered nurses, UCPS, Dental nurses and prescribing pharmacists.
We take pride in our strong infra structure that ensures clinical safety and provide you with senior clinical support 24 hours a day.
