Job summary
This role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Intensive Personalised Support (IPS) service, with a primary focus on building and strengthening referral pipelines from external stakeholders. The role plays a pivotal part in coordinating a cohesive team to ensure effective intervention delivery. This involves working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. A major emphasis is placed on actively developing and nurturing relationships with external partners to increase referrals, ensuring the service reaches those who need it most. Main duties of the job
This role involves coordinating incoming referrals to the IPS service, ensuring high-quality behavioural support for children, young people, and families. Key responsibilities include building relationships with external stakeholders, promoting the service, and representing it at professional events. The role requires reviewing assessments, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with clients and professionals to implement effective interventions. Additionally, it involves acting as Head of Service when needed, supervising and coaching staff, contributing to recruitment and training, and managing daily operations, including case allocations and scheduling. Ensuring service efficiency, providing feedback, maintaining accurate records, and implementing ABL policies are essential. The role also includes proactive risk management, on-call support, and participation in service growth and promotion. Flexibility and adaptability are required, and duties may extend to other reasonable responsibilities as needed.
