Job summary
Using psychologically based strategies and support methods, the Behaviour Support Worker will work collaboratively with our team and clients to deliver personalised support interventions to children and young people. Depending on client need, this may include supporting individuals in residential, educational, and vocational settings. They will provide support to children, young people, and their families who have complex needs. We aim to help our clients develop or maintain stable, satisfying lives. We support a diverse client-base whos needs may include but are not limited to suspected or diagnosed neurodiversity, mental health difficulties, behaviours that are considered challenging and/or risky, developmental conditions, and trauma.
Main duties of the job
In addition to working closely with other Support Workers, youll work in partnership with our internal clinical team and have access to the wider organisations multidisciplinary team for support. This position is well-suited to individuals interested in social interventions and working with families in crisis.
Those with youth/family work or residential experience may find this role to be a natural next step in their professional development, though we welcome applications from candidates outside of these fields as well.
