Anaesthetist Specialising in Pain Management
We are currently offering exciting opportunities for an experienced Anaesthetist specialising in pain management in the beautiful region of Dorset.
This position involves working on Fridays and Saturdays, with the possibility of additional shifts on Sundays.
The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Pain Services, with a strong focus on providing treatments without the need for sedation.
- Proven experience in spinal and epidural injection procedures for lower back pain
- Expertise in Pain Services and patient management
- Ability to deliver treatments without sedation
- Strong communication and patient care skills

Patients: 10-12 a day
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform spinal and epidural injection procedures for the management of lower back pain, without the use of sedation.
- Deliver high-quality care to patients, ensuring effective pain management and clear communication.
- Work collaboratively within the Pain Services team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Adhere to all clinical and safety guidelines and ensure that patient care is consistently of the highest standard.
Key Requirements:
- Specialist Anaesthetist with proven experience in spinal and epidural injections for lower back pain.
- Strong background in Pain Services, with a focus on non-sedation techniques.
- GMC registration (General Medical Council).
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to handle a varied patient caseload.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
