Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced HCAs to join our Temporary Staffing Bank. This role will support our Mobile Weight Bearing CT service which currently runs 2 days a month at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. We are also currently expanding our services across the Midlands so there is likely to be opportunities at other sites for bank work in the near future. The role will be required from January 2024 with training days to be undertaken on site during December 2023.

Main duties of the job

As a Bank Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring they are comfortable throughout the scanning process. Your duties will also include preparing the scanning room, cleaning equipment, and ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, with an interest in working in a patient-facing role. You will also be flexible with a can-do attitude and have the ability to work under pressure.
