Job summary

We at Connect Health are delighted to be growing our team of talented clinicians and are currently looking for a Hybrid Senior Musculoskeletal (MSK) Clinician (Physiotherapist, Osteopath, Rehab Therapist, Sports Therapist) who are passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care to join us as part of a large multidisciplinary team in Darlington.

This is a hybrid role, working in clinic one day per week based in Darlington. There is also an opportunity to work this as a split role as a First Contact Practitioner, should you wish.

Main duties of the job

You will utilise expertise to function as a senior musculoskeletal specialist, managing a varied clinical and at times complex caseload within the community service contract. This will include:

  • Determining clinical diagnosis and provide treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate packages of care, giving specialist clinical / professional advice to patients, carers, and other Health Care Professionals.
  • Undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical, and emotional needs. To formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes, ensuring effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved.
  • Maintaining patient documentation, records, and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and to meet professional and organisation standards as well as local and national guidelines.
  • Demonstrating a sound understanding of Clinical Governance, including ability to audit own practice.
  • Being responsible for organisation, prioritisation, and planning of own caseload with support from our patient care co-ordination centre (PCC).

  • Demonstrating clinical competencies to required company standards for a senior MSK clinician, including provided support to MSK clinicians within the service
