Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Advanced MSK Clinician to join the Camden MSK Physiotherapy team who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and shares our company values. Main duties of the job

To provide safe and effective delivery of clinical interventions in line with professional standards and governance requirements.

To personally deliver a quality clinical service, meeting the clinical and operational needs of the service.

Push the boundaries of conventional rehabilitation with responsibility for the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation in 1:1 and group settings.

To develop and promote a positive and dynamic image and culture to both internal and external stakeholders. At all times reflecting and encouraging core value behaviours amongst the team.

To develop and foster productive relationships with local patient groups, Consultants, GPs, other key stakeholders e.g. gyms and leisure centres.

To contribute to the shaping and delivery of the MSK content within the Connect Clinical Academy, engaging fully with their education pillar.

To embody and work within a culture of continuous improvement to continue to push the boundaries of clinical excellence through research, audit and innovation.

You will work as an advanced practice clinician with an expertise and specialist interest in rehabilitation of MSK conditions. This will include the comprehensive and holistic management of patients utilising advanced decision-making and clinical reasoning skills.

You will have expert rehabilitation skills with the ability to apply them in different settings and in different types of consultations. You will be able to identify when rehabilitation is not the best management pathway and be able to refer to appropriate specialties as needed.

You willneed to be proactive in developing excellent working relationships within the team as well as with external stakeholders including patients, GPs and commissioners. You will have the opportunity to develop the rehabilitation skills of others by working closely with less experienced members of staff. This may also involve developing MSK clinicians nationally through the Connect Health Academy.
