Health are delighted to be growing our team of talented clinicians and are
currently looking for Senior Musculoskeletal (MSK) Clinicians (Physiotherapist,
Osteopath, Rehab Therapist, Sports Therapist) who are passionate about
providing high-quality patient-centred care to join us as part of a large
multidisciplinary team in Greater Manchester and Rochdale.
Main duties of the job
You will utilise expertise to function as a senior musculoskeletal specialist, managing a varied clinical and at times complex caseload within the community service contract. This will include:
- Determining clinical diagnosis and provide treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate packages of care, giving specialist clinical / professional advice to patients, carers, and other Health Care Professionals.
- Undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical, and emotional needs. To formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes, ensuring effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved.
- Maintaining patient documentation, records, and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and to meet professional and organisation standards as well as local and national guidelines.
- Demonstrating a sound understanding of Clinical Governance, including ability to audit own practice.
- Being responsible for organisation, prioritisation, and planning of own caseload with support from our patient care co-ordination centre (PCC).
- Demonstrating clinical competencies to required company standards for a senior MSK clinician, including provided support to MSK clinicians within the service
