Job summary

Are you a Prescriber looking for an exciting new opportunity? Kirkby Practice are looking for an ANP/ACP for 30 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.

A non-medical prescriber, working ideally within primary care with a sound knowledge of long term and minor illness conditions.

It is preferred that the ideal candidate is a level 7 (Msc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or an MSC course to ACP status may also be considered.

Job responsibilities

Location: Nottingham

The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.

They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met.
