Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Isabel Hospice as a Palliative Care Nurse Educator.

Main duties of the job

This role will support the Enhanced Care Home Educator Specialist Nurse to deliver and evaluate a programme of education and training to support the individual needs of each Care Home.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse with palliative care experience
  • Level 3 Teaching Certificate (or equivalent) or willing to undertake
  • Advanced Communication Skills
  • Post registration education in palliative care at degree level, or willingness to undertake study at degree level

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years post registration experience in related area of practice
  • Evidence of teaching and presentation skills
  • Experience and understanding of safeguarding adults & the Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Car owner & driver
