With the ever-increasing number of treatments and care we give to patients, our professional and detailed Administration department is need of an additional Administrator to join and assist the Patient Administration team at our Emersons Green hospital, Bristol.

Working, Monday - Friday from 09:00 to 17:00!
Main duties of the job
As the Patient Administrator, youll be supporting the clinical teams and our patients by effectively occupying and accommodating availability for varied consultations, assessments, treatments and theatre sessions. Youll be tasked with monitoring the capacity of booking and reporting any unfilled availability to the Patient Services Lead.
It will be your responsibility to identify and register all new patients and manage their referrals, you will need to confidently answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding their appointments.
In this Patient Administrator position, youll be playing a patient focused and supportive role, you will be keeping in contact with patients on waiting lists to offer earlier or newly available appointments, contacting them prior to their appointment to set their expectations.
Detailed, up to date and confirmed booking lists will have to be prepared in good time and issued to the related departments, such as the outpatient clinic and theatres.
About us
This a 9 months Fix Term Contract to cover maternity leave, whilst we are looking a strong Administrator, this position will suit those who may have worked in a telesales or call centre environment with a results / target driven background.
You will be an effective communicator at all levels both written and verbal and will be PC literate, being familiar with MS Office tools (Excel in particular), able to pick up new systems easily.
Multi-tasking will be second nature to you as you will have examples of having had to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
